Woodside Farm Jack Russells are well known for outstanding temperaments. We are on our eight generation of breeding only the best to the best. While these dogs are true terriers most of them find their way into a family where they are cherished throughout their long lives. All recommended health tests are completed including suggested DNA tests to insure that no inherited health issues are ever present. Attention is also paid to a good temperament and good conformation.
Our first litter of puppies for 2015 was born April 30, 2015. There are 2 boys and a girl. The mother is Woodside Bobbette. Bobbi’s father is an AKC grand champion and the Australian champion terrier. His name is Foxcroft Jack Eaze up Turbo. Turbo was in the states to earn his AKC grand champion. After that he returned to Australia. The father of Bobbi’s litter is International Champion Trophy dell’Isola Dei Baroni. Trophy was born in Italy but is owned by a Russian. He also was here to get his AKC grand champion (completed) and is now on his way back to his owner in Russia. The AKC group that these dogs compete in is called the Russell Terrier. The Russell terrier is no more than 12 inches tall. So they are the shorter version of the Parson Jack Russell Terrier. The Russell terrier is known for a softer temperament. They can still hunt but are not as driven as the Parson type is. They are easy to train and sweet as can be.

Bobbi’s puppies are rough coated. Their dewclaws have been removed. They have been dewormed and will have their first shots and a health certificate from a veterinarian. They have been fed organic dry puppy food, and a variety of natural foods like cottage cheese, eggs, beef, turkey, sweet potatoes and veggies.
Woodside Pinky gave birth to her new litter on July 9, 2015. The sire, James River Deben, is a true working JRTCA type of dog. He is tri-colored, and was the third place finishes in the JRTCA National Show for 2014 in the Junior Division. Both Deben and Pinky are around 12 inches tall, very correctly built and true working dogs as well as sweet and healthy. Pinky has 3 pups – one boy and 2 girls. They all have brown masks and darker highlights around their eyes. They will probably be rough coated.
